Botswana's dry season from April to October is ideal for safaris, offering optimal wildlife viewing due to sparse vegetation and concentrated water sources.

Lightweight, neutral-colored clothing is advisable. Long sleeves and pants help protect against insects and the sun. A good hat, sturdy closed-toe shoes, and a jacket for cooler evenings are also recommended.

3. Are vaccinations required for Botswana, South Africa or Zimbabwe?

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travelers entering Botswana ONLY if they are coming from or have transited through a country with a risk of yellow fever transmission. Generally, routine vaccinations like measles, mumps, rubella, and hepatitis A and B are recommended.  For travel vaccinations please visit the International Travel Vaccination Centre website.

7. What is the accommodation like during the safari tour?

We offer a blend of accommodations options consisting of nights in roof top tents in designated camping areas where you fall asleep listening to the wildlife with full amenities.  And then nights spent in beautiful African lodges.  All accommodations are chosen for their comfort, safety, and proximity to wildlife-rich areas.  Please note:  Tents are located on the roof of the vehicle, two persons per tent and you must be able to climb a short ladder to your tent. Tents include sleeping bags and matresses.

9. Can dietary preferences or restrictions be accommodated during the safari tour?
